I want to create music for every medium. Earth, Wind & Fire music touched the world. Along with my other projects, I have created a library of music which appeals to music buffs everywhere. In keeping with this tradition, I am moving into other endeavors with the goal of reaching as many people as possible through music." - Larry Dunn
I first met Lorenzo Dunn years ago while in elementary school. And even back then he was a monster pianist, and organist. He was the kind of guy that was easy going and always ready to share his knowledge of music.
For me it was a great learning experience. Although we all are close in age, these guys’s had been funkin it for a couple of years together. And the best memories I have of this group was that no matter what you needed to know they were always ready to help a brother out.
But my best memory of Larry was at a high school function that featured a prominent organist by the name of Al Hammond Moore.
I remember Al once finding out that Larry played the keys a little, asking him to set in on the gig. Brother should have never done that. Larry blew dust in his face with his playing. To the point that Mr. Moore ran on stage in the middle of Larry’s performance and stopped the show.
Yep! Larry was a bad Mother, well you know.
Well I’m just letting everyone know that the brother hasn’t been idle since his writing and performing days with Earth, Wind, & Fire. The brother has a couple of solo projects out, and Television, Commercial, and Movie credits too numerous to list here.
